I chose this cruise for it's convenience ( I could drive to the port) the length of the cruise and the itinerary. We enjoyed the cruise for the most part. The entertainment was a disappointment though. The shows they made a big deal about were not good. I really didn't come across anyone who said they were as good as the hype they gave them. The only show I heard people praising was the "Letterman" singer, Mark Preston. He was great and put on a wonderful show. There were many nights where there was no real entertainment at all. We had late dining and some of the shows were during our dinner time. The food was as good as any other cruise line seems to be these days. Just OK. The entrée choices were very limited and repeated during the trip. The appetizers and dessert were mostly the same every night except for maybe one new choice. The only salad served at dinner was Caesar salad. I think they only purchased Romaine and Arugula lettuce for the whole trip. I probably would not go on the ship again until they change the shows. I heard there is no plan to do so for at least 3-5 years. We did enjoy the diamond Lounge every night. The wait staff was excellent. Our Dinner waiter and assistant waiter were excellent.
