I bought a drink package for just over $500. On our seven day cruise, I had no more than 8 drinks (I started counting). The reason for not having more is because each drink took an average of a half hour to get to me. I believe they do this because they know the sooner you get your beverage, the sooner you may order a second one. It's a scam and I feel I was robbed. I'm not a crazy drunk but I do like a drink at lunch and with dinner while on holidays. It was IMPOSSIBLE to get a drink. Don't bother wasting the money.
Our second problem was the fact that there was no coffee maker in the room. We spent the extra money for a balcony with the vision of waking up early to watch the sunrise while sipping our coffee. We had to get up, get dressed, walk to the nearest café just to get a morning coffee! Not good. We are a young couple. Princess had a chance to secure us as long term guests but that won't happen as we were deprived of what we consider basic amenities.
There are plenty of daily activites but watch out, the majority of the activities have a heavy sales pitch attached to them. i.e. how to look 10 years younger (buy pills and lotions), how to start exercising (pay huge fees for on ship trainers), and the list goes on....
Cabin was super clean. We really enjoyed our cabin. No coffee maker was the only bad thing about the cabin.
