Cabin: Cove Balcony

1st time on Vista with 20+ prior Carnival cruises.’

Ship: really liked the decor & changes Carnival has made. Very cruise themed beachy feel. Havana area is a nice addition just not enough cabins! Serenity is the largest we’ve experienced but still not enough room for sea days. Spa is smaller than on Magic & noisy while the gym is huge. Ship only seemed crowded on sea days. We especially enjoyed the Atrium Lobby and bar area.

Entertainment: IMAX theaters is a great addition; price is very reasonable $9.95 seniors $12.95 for adults and you can bring “anything you want into the theater”. We saw Red Sparrow & Tomb Raider. Live music throughout the ship is very good; choices from one person entertainment to bands to new age strings there is something for all tastes. Main Shows in lounge are not the main strength of entertainment on this ship but enjoyable. The Main Show Lounge is a horrible design.

Cabin Review

Cove Balcony

Cabin 7C

Excellent location mid ship right around the corner from the mid ship elevators and a brief walk to either the forward or aft elevators. We choose mid ship and we enjoy the open air cove balconies and this one did not disappoint. The decor in Vista cabins is very cruise like. Bed was a bit hard for our liking and we brought our own My Pillows! Great cabin great cabin steward team wouldn't hesitate to sail in this cabin again.
