We spend 4 nights on the Stella Australis, taking in all the excursions we could (usually two per day). We enjoyed the trips, the Zodiac process to get to land and guide, everything. On most excursions there are 2 to 3 levels of activity, from easy to very hard. Most people should be able to get from the boat into the Zodiac and from the Zodiac, on and off the beach.

We met many interesting people during the hikes and this made the trip even better. The food is good on the ship, but do not expect 5-star dining and a huge selection of entres. The purpose of the boat is to get you to the excursions, not luxury dining

The all-enclusive nature of the cruise (excursions, alcohol, food) makes everything very easy. All aspects of the cruise went well and were very organized, from the embarkation to the disembarkation. Their process for running the Zodiacs is like a machine, very fact, efficient and safe
