Sail Date: Mar 2018

We sailed on Viking in 2016 (Into the Midnight Sun) and loved the smaller ship. (We've also done 5 River Cruises with Viking)

Embarkation was not a good experience....Not the usual welcome, and security people were extremely rude (pulling things out of my carry on and throwing onto conveyor belt) and shouting directions. Not one person welcomed us until we entered the ship. Not usual Viking Standard.

All tours are highly dependent upon the tour guide's knowledge and language ability, 2 bad, the rest good. A couple tours were at least 15 - 20 minute walks to the bus. People with difficulty walking were really lagging behind. Again, unusual for Viking

Cabin Review

Cabin DV

Fine, all Viking Ships are designed alike. Storage is a little tight, but suitcases fit under the beds so we use those for extra storage.

LOVE the heated floors, non fog mirrors and nice size in the bathroom!

Our cabin was well maintained and supplied

Port Reviews

Rome (Civitavecchia)

We've been to Rome before so did Rome on your own. Started in Trastevere and ended up at the Forum. Great fun
