we met up with some friends from the US (we are Canadian), and had an absolutely wonderful time. Our overseas flight landed at 7:30 am and we were at the ship by 9:00am. I was expecting them to store our luggage somewhere, not expecting our cabin to be ready. Much to our surprise, it was ready and we went and unpacked and had a little rest before getting off the ship to walk around for a while. The entire staff were very friendly and helpful. The included shore excursions were excellent with wonderful guides. It's so easy to meet new people on these small ships, which is why we like them. The Rhine was a new cruise to us and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We would probably like to try it again when perhaps Mother Nature made it a little warmer. The week was a little cool and wet, but we were prepared with proper clothing and umbrellas are a good idea. Trying some restaurants on land let us experience the local flavors. Can't wait to book our next one.
