Cabin: Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

We loved the ports of call on this cruise (St Thomas, St Kitts, Antigua, St Lucia and Barbados) but noticed that in San Juan and St Thomas, we got the less developed port. Other ports nearby had more to offer, especially San Juan.

I didn't use any of the ship's excursions, I booked everything on my own.

Entertainment: the comedian was very good, we also enjoyed the dance party and other entertainment in the centrum. We couldn't hear well enough at the outdoor movie and the indoor movie times never lined up with our plans. The same movies were available on your TV but for $12.99.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E3

PROS: The actual cabin was a good size, the bed was comfy and the AC worked well.

CONS: The bathroom was small, even for a cruise ship and the shower was ridiculously small. It was like tube shaped phonebooth! Outlets, 2 plug spots for the entire cabin. I was glad I brought a power strip. Balcony was small, we got a funky corner one. Storage space for unpacking into the cabin was poor.

Port Reviews

San Juan

The other port in San Juan is in Old San Juan, walking distance to many things to do. Our port was a dirt lot and cement dock. That's it.

St. Thomas

We took a cab to Sapphire Beach. It was beautiful! The open air taxi on the way there was a nightmare, nearly lost our breakfast, 1 bag and our lives! We insisted on a car on the way back...much better!
