We chose Pride because it was within a six hour drive from home and booked a month out hoping for a bit of warmth in the Bahamas. The ship is unique, a bit old fashioned in a Grecian Italian decor, we thought maybe it was built for the European market. Boarding was easy, our room was lovely although a bit tired, an obstructed veranda unusual in size with more storage than we could use. Built in 2001 she was aging well and due an update in April, we were pleased thus far.
Ports were not our choice, we heard they will not be returning to Port Canaveral and that is just fine with me. We enjoy ship life and relaxation and usually get off to take a walk.
Food was better than we hoped, we liked the food court choices for breakfast and lunch and had a really good table at early dinner. Maitre d' and our head waiter were the best.
Took a local bus toward the beaches #10 will take you to the beaches for $1.25 each way and run every 5-10 minutes from George Street
We didn't leave the port, just had a walk among the local venders.
