We chose this cruise because we did not want to go around the horn but wanted to visit S. Am. We have sailed on Princess several times in the past and like to book our next cruise prior to leaving the ship. Princess always seems to have excellent entertainment, food, and services.

The one downside members of our group mentioned this trip was the lack of Happy Hour at the Wheel House. That has always been a gathering place of many in the past and we were sorry to find it was not included on this trip. Also the wine package was listed as being available prior to sailing and upon sailing they found this also was not available and many wines listed on the wine list they did not have.

This did not affect myself or wife as a rule but I did hear other passengers growling about these issues.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin B2

Our cabin was quite comfortable being aft of mid-ship on floor 14. We enjoyed the views from the balcony and being able to go between cabins of our little group on the balcony. Irawan, our cabin steward, was excellent and maintained our cabin to excellent standards.
