A "cold front" made it rocky and windy so CocoCay was cancelled. The tenders could not safely handle the roll or the tide. I've sailed on 4 different lines, multiple times and this was the only time that some sort of concession was made under these circumstances. There was a short apology citing "our safety" and that was it.
My point is, if CocoCay is not accessible this time of year or any time 95%+ of the times, then it should not be listed as a port. Essentially false advertisement.
The staff was friendly, and there have been areas updated when they stretched the ship. Other places ( cabin ) is showing wear and tear. I was in Suite 8672, aft.
Food on buffet was real basic, and late night grill was also limited. Dinner in My Fair Lady was decent, but portions may be small after a full day in the water.
Sound system on deck by the pool was like standing 3rd row at a bad rock concert. They were entirely too loud, and quality was poor. Announcement were almost inaudible due to volume/speaker placement/ accent of captain.
Cabin was clean and tidy. Safe will not hold a laptop or DSLR camera with normal lens. Balcony area is well worn. Closet door screws needed tightening etc. basic upkeep.
This is my second cruise in a suite which was aft. This was a much smaller room. If sleeper sofa is used for a bed it gets crowded.
