We went on this ship to Hawaii and always knew we would want to spend another cruise onboard this beauty. Very different decor than some of the other Carnival Ships. Very easy to navigate due to the size. We stayed on deck 1, the promenade with guest services, casino and comedy club was on deck 2, deck 3 was the shops and photo gallery. We love this layout where everything is spead out on two floors. It kept congestion to a minimum. The only drawback is that Carnival still allows smoking inside the ship in the casino and the casino bar. People covering their noses as they pass by, I heard many people bypass this floor altogether due to the smell. It would be great if they created a smoking area on one of the outside decks that was very nice for the smokers. The entertainment in the comedy club is fantastic. We do not like the "production type" shows and/or musicals so we cannot offer any feedback in those areas. We did eat at the steakhouse which the service was impeccable but my steak was not properly cooked and really not good at all. My husband's steak was cooked to perfection so we shared it. We took one piece of the cheesecake to our cabin which we put in the fridge and ate later in the evening.

Cabin Review

Ocean View

Cabin 6A

Our cabin was located on deck one near the elevators. Only had one issue with someone taking something out of our mailbox one evening otherwise the cabin steward did a fine job and our cabin was very quiet and the a/c was perfect. Standard ocean view that you would expect.

Port Reviews

Tampa

We used Valet Parking at the Port of Tampa. It is the best service out there...pulled right up to the front of the cruise port, valet accepted our car and handled our luggage. We walked into the terminal and checked right in. After returning from the cruise we grabbed our bags, walked out the terminal, turned right, handed valet our ticket and car was there in less than 5 minutes. They loaded the luggage and off we went by 8:45am.

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

We have been here many times- this port is a tender so we got up later and caught the tender and just shopped a bit and returned to the ship.
