Wanted to try rccl after cruising another line multiple times. We have had so many positive things about Independence of the Seas, we felt it this would be a good choice for our family. Chose this ship and this itinerary which we've done multiple times before. The entertainment in the main theater each of the five nights was lackluster. Much to our surprise on the first two nights the main dining room staff had messed up our orders. On nights 3 and night 5 we decided to eat in Windjammers.

We had some great conversation with some of the crew which was wonderful and very informative. In the big picture things were ok but there was too many little things that just didn't meet the standards that we've become accustomed to. Because of our experience we decided not to book a future Cruise while we were on board despite its the savings. We're going to try another Cruise Line after this experience with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines.

Cabin Review

Spacious Ocean View Balcony

Cabin 6B

We had lots of room, lots of storage, suitcases fit Under the bed, bathroom was large great shower, balcony was wonderful. The bed was very hard, after the first night we asked for a bed topper which made a big difference. We were not far from the elevators. And our stateroom host did a wonderful job
