More or less the individuals cruising with us helped choose the location and timing of our particular cruise with the NCL Dawn. We were all located on the same deck (ten) and had balcony rooms. We were situated both on the port side and starboard side of the deck. The room stewards on both sides were excellent, as well as the stewards we passed in the hallways who were friendly and helpful with directions basically to everywhere on the NCL Dawn. Dining, bars and entertainment was excellent everywhere! Children were plentiful due to a mixture of spring break and Easter Holiday. This meant the children took over the hot tubs everywhere except the spa area. Thank goodness I booked the spa package since there is only a limited amount sold per ship. Many days I had the hot tub, sauna and pool in the spa all to myself or a maximum of three other people. Ports were effortlessly laid out for everyone in a artful colorful ray of colors. Many of my photos were taken just for the many artful subjects around every corner; eye candy for the traveler. My favorite place to eat breakfast and lunch on the NCL Dawn is the O' Sheehan's Bar & Grill; service was awesome and available 24/7. The dawn of cruising has arrived and you can find it all on the NCL Dawn.

Cabin BB

Clean with great views of all ports. Noticed that the cabins on starboard side did not have a great view until the last port.

Port Reviews

Cozumel

I enjoyed visiting the many shops and of course bought a few trinkets for friends and family. I felt safe and my belongings secure the whole time I was in this port.

Costa Maya

Visited the many shops and bought a few trinkets for family and friends. people watching became an art, watching small children keeping-up with family and children sharing candy and toys.

Roatan

Walking out about the stores and having our pass ports stamped was a wonderful gem. Once again people watching became an interesting sport when watching zip liners (at the end of the pier) appearing to float effortlessly across the water while attached to a simple wire.

Harvest Caye

Clean water, clean fun but a little bit of walking across the pier to get to the NCL island. Thank goodness, NCL provides a large golf cart to help those unable to walk the distance free of charge. Please, beware the food and drinks on this NCL island are not included. Also, note there is no guarantee to get your pass port stamped because the only person who can do this is not always available. I wasted a big part of my day traveling to and from this location in order to get my pass port stamped and it was not until it was time to get back on the ship was I informed he stopped briefly that morning and went home. I thanked the NCL individual for telling me the truth, I just wished someone would of told me sooner. I am sure I would had a better time if I had not made all those trips to and from that part of the island.
