Why? Brand name. Convenient timing. Confidence in performance based on priorSilversea cruise. Itinerary.
Travelled at our own expense from FL to San Juan for convenience.
Silversea lived up to its reputation. The ship is lovely, comfortable, and well maintained for an older ship.
Cabin Review
Owner's Suite 1
Size of cabin very good. Very comfortable. Clean, well maintained. Super service by Butler and assistant. So helpful and obliging. We had a great time.
Three suggestions that I think should be available in premium service and at your price:
-a king size bed
-updated bathroom facility including a roomy stall shower. A bath tub with wand shower on the ocean is difficult to manage plus exiting over high tub sides.
-7th floor location unfortunately located under pool area with furniture constantly being dragged across the upper deck. a lot of foot traffic noise as well.
