The itinerary to UAE, India and Asian ports in this different part of the world was the attraction for us to choose this cruise. And it was amazing to see the culture and background of these wonderful countries with a taste of their life in each port. We went from the vast wealth of the UAE ports where money is no object in those countries to the sheer poverty, chaos and massive population in India - it was a huge contrast to compare. The weather in March/April was hot and humid - low to mid thirties each day and warm at night. We only wore summer clothes for the entire cruise.
Our overall experience onboard was excellent in every aspect especially crew customer service in all areas of the ship.
The food onboard was delicious and varied and most enjoyable. We did not visit any specialty restaurants.
Cabin Review
Family Ocean View with Balcony
This FV cabin has a HUGE rear facing balcony in a very quiet location. It has a separate sleeping area behind opaque glass sliding doors with a 2 seater and 3 seater couch which will accommodate another 2 adults or 3 children. This area has another TV and shelves and drawer space. There are two double hanging closets and 6 drawers in the main room. The bathroom is small but sufficient with shower, toilet and basin. We loved the space and oversized balcony - this is a great cabin!!!

Dubai
We spent two full days in Dubai prior to embarkation and did several tours with Dubai Private Tours who were great. Our full day 8 hour tour with our guide Sameh was excellent. Sameh told us so many things about the history, culture, religion and background of this amazing city - we saw everything from one side of the city to the other. We went to see all of the sights that make this such a memorable city. Sameh made this a visit to remember and I would highly recommend him and his company - they were excellent.
Since we spent two days here we only went on a shuttle bus to a shopping mall for our day in port and that was a waste of time.
Muscat
Muscat was a real suprise to be honest - a beautiful modern city and our private tour guide Nasser from Sunshine Tours Oman gave us a wonderful tour of his city. Our dealings with Sunshine Tours were always specific and responses were immediate to all of my questions. Although I wasn't sure what there was to see beforehand the day was full and included a wonderful feast of Omani fruit and cake at Mohammed's house, a visit to the Opera House which was stunning, and seeing many of the beautiful features of this amazing city. Nasser was a great guide who I highly recommend and we all enjoyed a fantastic day.
