We just got off an 8 day cruise on Radiance from Sydney. It was an ok cruise, but just run of the mill. Service was ok, but not great. We pay attention to details and this cruise is one more example of a gradual deterioration in value for RCL cruises. They used to be top notch, but no longer. Don’t get me wrong, we had a good time and enjoyed it, but the cost cutting is showing through loud and clear.

Everywhere you turn, they are trying to charge you for something else. Specialty restaurants used to be what cruising was all about and was included. Not any more...they want $35 per person and it is NOT worth it. Try eating a desert on RCL. There is so little sugar in it that it is tasteless.

We had blue berry muffins each morning and there was NEVER more than one blueberry in any one muffin. I can’t even figure out how they do it!
