Time of year was right for us and we had never been to that part of Europe. Everything was "first class!" Viking really know how to get it done from start to finish. From greeting us at the Bucharest airport to seeing us off in Budapest the staff of Viking did everything right. If you want a fun adventure while being pampered this is the way to go. The service was great, the food was very good, the tours were spot on, the guides who traveled each day with us very knowledgeable which made the trip worth every penny. If you have never done a Viking River Cruise you must give it a try. We were "first timers" for any type of cruise and this was the best Only 180 travelers on a very spacious vessel. Of the 180, 155 had been on other river cruises with Viking and all of the ones we meet said they have never had a bad trip while using Viking.
