Cabin: Havana Cabana (Balcony)

We chose this Cruise because of Vista, and then selected an itinerary that we wanted to to go see. The Ship did not disappoint as we we totally enjoyed so many aspects of Vista. We stayed in a Havana Cabana Balcony room and loved the balcony complete with swing, lounge chair, sitting chair and stool, and table. This is a wonderful way to cruise. We also liked the Havana experience as the private use of the back pool and bar and chairs was a huge plus. The only downside in this area was the live music that was played in the Havana Bar each night was loud enough to hear in the room. I can't tell you how late they played because I still could easily fall asleep, but you could hear the music so be aware. I would guess the further forward your room on the ship, the less you would hear it.

Other Vista amenities to keep in mind: Sky Ride was awesome, Water slides and park were great, even for adults, Casino on 4 so the smoking can be avoided on 5 with ease, Ice Cream in the Fun Shops, Digital photos you can review anywhere, Red Frog Pub and BREWERY, partial food buffet offering in the Ocean Plaza, expanded Fun Shops, and more. Downsides: It has the newer Liquid Lounge which I feel is a downgrade in the main theater, Sign in for Your Time Dining is not at the Dining Room, this is just silly, and the main lobby is still missing the dance floor that is great to have their.

Overall, this is a beautiful ship and I look forward to future sailings once she moves to Galveston.

Cabin Review

Havana Cabana (Balcony)

Cabin HE

These cabins are well worth the extra cost.

Port Reviews

Miami

3 stars for Port of Miami. Getting on the Ship was fast and clearly a 5 star experience. Getting off and Baggage Claim specifically was a 1 Star so hence the average. 3 turnstiles for all of that luggage and Disembarkation numbers scattered on the turnstiles is no way to make this work. EPIC FAIL.

Grand Turk

Love the port and Shops and Margaritaville steps away from the Ship.
