Sorry for the length of this. Had a fabulous time. We were three couples in our 50’s. Everything with embarkation and debarkation went smooth.

The last three cruises we have taken were with Celebrity so my comparison is going to be to those.

Ship: The Regal is a beautiful ship. The Piazza is very pretty. Lots of elevators. We found that the ship has some design flaws: to get to the main theatre from the 5th floor - you have to walk through the casino (?). Some of the floors do not have through access. One of the DR’s was only accessible from the elevator/stairwell. You could not walk from that level of floor.

Cabin: The balcony stateroom is smaller than Celebrity’s balcony category that has a sitting area and as a result Celebrity’s balcony stateroom feels much bigger. On the Regal you have to book a mini-suite to get a sitting area. The bathroom on the Regal is very small. Celebrity’s is noticeably bigger. The closet was a good size with lots of hangars. There is an adjacent closet with shelves with a safe. Bed was comfortable with good quality bedding. The steward was great.
