We picked this cruise for the 5 ports and only one at sea day. We started in SAN Juan as we wanted to be in the heat immediately. Although the ship is showing its age in some areas, overall it was clean, well maintained and the crew and staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The dining room service was excellent, windjammer was easy to navigate and the food was what we expected as we had cruised RC previously. Getting on the ship was easy and we liked the fact that they had a wine store on location so that you could purchase your allowed 2 bottles of wine to take on board. Our cabin was a recent new addition in March 2018 and was all new. The ship is easy to navigate and not crowded like it was on bigger ships. As expected the ship allows smoking within the casino which is really the only negative thing we encountered. Entertainers were fun to watch and varied each night. Our port days allowed for smooth departing and returns and overall were well worth the visit.

St.Marrtan is in rough shape and we spent most of our time at the beach. All of our shore excursions were booked privately as we found that when booking with RC you pay quite a lot more for the same excursions.

Our sea day was filled with trying out the activities such as the water slides, mini golf, table tennis, hot tubs and watching the belly flop contest.

Interior Stateroom

Cabin M

All new, clean, all required amenities and the room attendant was excellent.

Port Reviews

St. Maarten

Island is in rough shape and be prepared to be bombarded with locals trying to get your business and dollars. Water taxi is convenient and brand name drinks can be found everywhere for $2 or less.

Barbados

This island has the nicest beaches. Water is aqua clear with cool white sand. We walked to Pirates Cove and was able to jet ski, swim and suntan. The only negative is the prices were higher than any other island we visited. A tube of sun screen was $18USD at duty free and $45USD at a local drug store.
