I was on this ship before and did not like it at all. We got a free cruise from the casino and tried it again this past week and I was pleasantly surprised.Everything went smoothly and the food was excellent. We ate in the dining room 1 night and the waitstaff, service and food were outstanding. We ate in the specialty restaurants the other nights--my favorite was the beef tenderloin in Le Bistro but everything everywhere was just as good. One thing to note is that if you go to the Cirque show (which was great), they don't ask you how you want your steak and serve it well done. The buffet was really, really good. Just a note that lobster is not served anywhere (not even the specialty restaurants.) I'm Platinum so getting on the ship was extremely easy. However, getting off the ship was a nightmare. No special line for platinum walk offs. We got on line at 7:45 (which was the appointed time) and finally got off the ship at 9:20, then had to go through customs. They had everyone who had a red ticket get off at the same time and there were just too many people. Should break it down to the color plus a number. Enjoyed ourselves. Of the 17 things I did not like the last time I was on there ship it has now been narrowed down to 4: (1) the payoff for the full board bingo - have to get it in 47 numbers or less and no one gets that so the payoff is less than $800 even though over 300 people showed up for the last bingo paying $89 each; (2) the casino is way too smoky -- even getting off the ship the line went through the casino and the smell of smoke was awful even though no one had smoked for hours; (3) getting off the ship, and (4) extra payment for everything.
This was a handicap accessible room. The bathroom is huge (but no cabinets or shelves in there). The room held 2 people and a wheel chair comfortably.
