What I did like about this cruise is that we got a cheap upgrade to a balcony on the forward of the ship. We arrived at the port at 9am and were surprised to get parked so quickly especially in NYC. The Embarkment went well. The food, the steward, and cleanliness was all good. Food was available 24/7 and not just junk food like pizza. The shows were all good except the Rock of Ages show was not appropriate for a cruise ship, maybe it would be best for a Vegas adult sex show, It was lack of taste for a cruise ship. The gym and equipment was good.

Problems on this ship included language barriers and lack of knowledge of the workers. Many adult areas such as adult clubs and adult karaoke had children there which made it not an adult time at all. Little kids on the dance floor dancing while adults are gyrating with adult music is not cute. This decreased any adult time since there was minimal private areas for adults. Private areas came at an extra fee!! Children were running up and down the stairs, through the hallways by staterooms all hours of the night and playing on the dance floor in the restaurant dance area where couple where trying to dance. It seemed like no one was in control or authority to set limits on the cruisers who thought this was acceptable. Disembarkment was a nightmare with no organization so everyone tried to leave the ship at the same time so you could imagine that disaster! We were to leave at 9:20am and got off the ship at 1pm. Not impressed with Norwegian at all.
