It was something we had always wanted to do and the lovely relaxed atmosphere on the ship, together with good service, lovely food, wonderful weather, made it almost perfect. We went to some lovely towns and liked the fact that there were lots of opportunities to get off the ship and look around, as well as the really great excursions. Although we didn’t get to see the Northern Lights, the wonderful scenery made up for a little disappointment.

It was only spoilt by the inconsiderate group of passengers who gathered in the main lounge sometimes two or three times a day to play at least two accordians and sing. They seemed to be oblivious to the number of people who would walk out each time. The lounge was the main area for people to sit and relax with a coffee, chat to friends, or read a book, or to watch the wonderful scenery passing by. This group would often play for two hours at a time.
