An interesting cruise. Embarkation went very well and quick - very efficient.

Decor inside ship is very dark - if I had a choice I would paint all the dark brown areas a light off white colour. But it is what it is.

If you are a regular cruiser on RCL or Princess I believe you will be disappointed with Carnival - it is a step down.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin 8E

Nice cabin and reasonable size - bigger than Princess and about same size as RCL. minor repairs were conducted on shower and more significant work on outside balcony by maintenance staff while I was onboard.

Loved the towel animals each day but can you believe someone complained that they were all in white !!!

Port Reviews

Sydney (Australia)

As I live here no need for a shore excursion - in my opinion best port in world

Moorea

Unfortuanetly it rained heavily so limited day review - those who were lucky to get out had mixed reviews due to weather.

Port Denarau

We did go to Fiji due to a cyclone but instead went to Tonga - nice visit - not advanced place but people very friendly and cheap place to shop. Several interesting things to see. Had a lovely tour around island.

Honolulu

If you can allow 5 days to explore all this place has to offer - next time I will visit Hawaii island to see lava flows - when in Oahu go to Exit 8 factory outlets for some good shopping. Also Polneysian Cultural Centre is a must

Noumea

Been here several times before and happy just to tour around town. Not a cheap place to shop.
