3rd time for us and as soon as we got to the Pingvinen bar in Bergen we got onto the wifi and got down to planning the 4th one.

The views are nothing less than staggering. Utterly breathtaking. No words or photos will ever do justice to the Norwegian fjords. You need to see them with your own eyes.

We embarked at Svolvær for a three-night cruise south to Bergen. A quick treat for us for various reasons. My partner's in an electric wheelchair and the MS Finnmarken had a nifty device where the steps to the foot-passengers' door flattened-out into a lift. When we sailed on the MS Trollfjord in 2013 we boarded via the vehicle ramp and up a cargo lift.

Cabin Review

Cabin Polar

The cabins are fine for us. Cosy and comfortable. They're all en-suite and although compact not terribly so. We didn't spend long in it. We had a view from deck 7 and although we were on the port side we weren't disturbed by any night-time docking.
