This is the third time we've taken this itinerary on this ship, and we enjoyed this one a lot. The only downside was that the political unrest in Nicaragua caused the ship to skip that port and substitute Ensenada, Mexico. We enjoyed all the ports, and that's the main reason we keep taking this itinerary. We love Puerto Quetzal in Guatemala, and San Juan del Sur in Nicaragua.

The ship is an older one, but it has been nicely refurbished, with new carpet through most of the ship, new or reupholstered furniture in some areas. This time, we got upgraded to one of the new balcony cabins on deck 7 (Promenade) Aft. Our cabin was lovely, with a huge flat screen TV across from the bed, a larger than normal balcony, and a considerably bigger bathroom and shower than other balcony cabins. I like having drawers instead of just shelves for storage in the desk and bedside.

We love the Wheelhouse Bar on this ship, because it's spacious and has that old-world ambiance that really makes you feel that you're traveling by ship. The music and dancing were great in the Wheelhouse, and the drink service is excellent. We go there to dance every night before dinner.

New cabin, just added to ship. Larger than most. Flat-screen TV. Bigger bathroom. Princess bedding is the best! Loved it.
