Cruised with 2 other best friend couples. Itinerary of Ports changed as Nicaragua had protests. Ensenada, MX was replacement port. Island Princess current layout with no aft night club/lounge makes not enough venues for public gatherings/activities. Cruise staff were friendly and available for Q&A. Carpet bowling was a big success 25 to 28 participants. Lecturer Bob Perlow "Warm up Guy" was Fantastic and guests made a mini sit com which was a blast except about 60 of us had to squish into Hearts & Minds to watch the results. Do Not like that "Happy Hour" has been dropped and Elite evening cocktail lounge "Skywalkers" is much downsized or deleted. Princess should reconsider. Cruise Critics had a good get together early in the cruise with 2 of the ships Managers attending. Happy Hour and other changes were voiced, but basically Mike, the manager said learn to live with it. Overall the cruise was really nice.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview

Cabin O6

Large new cabin added when Vista lounge was removed. Reasonable size bathroom and shower. Good sized TV. Somewhat noisy with vibration especially when rear thrusters are being used. Good sized window.

Port Reviews

Huatulco

Nice dock. Good food and beer nearby on beach.

Puerto Quetzal (Antigua)

Nice port with shops near by. Found good prices on leather and ceramic goods.

Manzanillo

Good shopping and drinking spots.

Ensenada

Excellent Margaritas & beer at Hussong's. Good pharmacy shops. Good shopping. Convenient walking distance from ship to town.
