We chose this cruise because I'm never ready to get off the ship on seven day cruises and this was a nine day. Just right!!
Port of Miami is a nightmare. Every time that we go out of Miami there is some kind of debacle. We arrived at 10;30 documents and passports in hand. We were quickly checked in and given our seapass cards. Then, as in the past were not permitted to board. We stood in a massive line for two hours. This is our eighteenth cruise and we have never run into this at any other port. They need to either have a waiting room with seating, or have the ship/and boarding later after the ship has been cleared/cleaned and ready to receive passengers.
We have been on two of the sister ships of the Navigator of the Seas and always enjoyed the size of the ships. The ship was clean and nicely decorated. We had a balcony on deck seven. Our room and balcony were larger than usual and our room steward was outstanding. We did have an "issue" with our mattress, however. The one side was perfect and the other side had a bunch of hard lumps. Our room steward did try to fix the problem with some success.
Our cabin was a little larger than usual and our cabin steward was outstanding. However, one side of our mattress had hard lumps.
