We always wanted to depart Brisbane on a cruise and didn’t want to go to Fiji again so did the Qld coast. Embarkation was good in that there is a car park beside the terminal so family can drop you off easily. Even though we selected early embarkation time, they didn’t check that, just processed everyone as they arrived so there was quite a line up. They put you in groups to board. Plenty of seats and toilets while you wait so no dramas.

We did as suggested in previous reviews and went straight to the Waterfront restaurant to book our evening dining time. Glad we did as people who left it until later were complaining there were only late slots left. Whilst down there we decided to do lunch which was delicious - better than trying to find a table in the pantry.

We had a balcony cabin, chosen carefully to be in a quiet area but still had some noise disturbance- see next paragraph. Room quite small, just enough room to get around the bed, do love the walk-in robe though. The outward opening door on the balcony makes it quite the manoeuvre to get 2 people out there with 2 chairs and a table.

Cabin Review

Cabin BB Balcony

Quite small, balcony extremely small. Handy location between lifts and near the laundry. Quite noisy when unruly kids were running on the hallway above.
