Going to the Caribbean was a bucket list trip for us from Australia...The cruise with MSC was all we had hoped for and more.

Embarkation was smooth and very efficient, making one feel like you are on holiday from the moment you stepped into Terminal F.

Food was great with lots of choice. Theater shows were of an exceptionally high quality and the ability to book shows meant to having to go sit 45min ahead of time to make sure you had a seat. There was heaps to do onboard, staff was friendly & helpful and the overall cost for the cruise a real draw card. Captain Marco Massa was fantastic and is a real asset to MSC

Port Reviews

Miami

Walked from ship to Bayside Marketplace. After exploring caught the watertaxi to South Beach where we hired Citi Bikes and explored the area, before going for a swim at 14th st and a Taxi back to the ship

Ocho Rios

Met up with Jamaican friend and went to Waterfall ....stunningly beautiful

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

The port was great and very pretty...Payed for a tour to Stingray City with Blue Ray, after being offered the opportunity port side for $45 pp. The sea was stunning and seeing the Stingrays and feeding them was amazing. Unfortunately dealing with the onboard photographer Mary was a nightmare. Paid for 4 photos that did not get emailed as promised.....I contacted her twice via emailed over 5 days, politely asking when I could expect to get the photos , without any reply. Was only after another email on day 6, where I said I would need to report on my experience, that I got a reply email which did not include the photos but just abused me ..took 3 more emails to finally have all 4 the photos I had paid for. ...unfortunately spoiled the experience a bit.

St. Maarten

Walked into town and explored. Town stills shows signs of Hurricane Urma but the friendlies people out. Got lounger and Umbrella ($15 for two) on the beach at Blue Bitch Bar and had lunch. Food was fantastic, and great music was being played. Great place to swim

San Juan

Explored Old San Juan....went to fort and did some shopping. Stunningly beautiful old town. Kept us busy all day
