I thought the itinerary was interesting however we missed 2 stops, with no good explanation. The original brochure said the first stop would be Key West and when we did not stop the staff's answer was that was not part of the itinerary , even after we showed them Viking Brochures that call it out as the first stop.Very poor answer. The second stop we missed they said they did not have a dock available, What? they did not book ahead? This caused the trip to have too many days at sea. Very disappointed.

The "customer service" staff was really not friendly and the answer to everything was "thats our policy". Even after I insisted on talking to a manager of client services and she promised after the cruise was over I would get a phone call to handle a credit (for hundreds of $) I have never heard one word from Viking. Many people on board said the very same thing about the customer service staff. Very cold people and they seemed annoyed when you needed something.

I don't know if it is the "ocean" devision but this staff could take some lessons from the "river" devision which was wonderful, friendly and could not do enough for you. They should take housekeeping staff and put them in customer service and make the customer service people clean the bathrooms!

Cabin Review

Cabin was very nice. The housekeeping staff was the best and most friendly staff on the boat, hands down!!!!
