Sail Date: May 2018
Cabin: Balcony Stateroom

Embarkation and disembarkation went smoothly, but probably because people were getting on/off in different ports.

Our cabin was ready by 11.30. We had someone elses luggage delivered to our cabin. Sorted out fairly quickly.

Cabin was clean and our steward was friendly and efficient.

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B3

Very nice cabin. Plenty of storage. Usual size bathroom. Shower very small but has glass doors. Small tv with limited channels in English. Bed big and comfy. Balcony average size but could do with a clean.

Port Reviews

Naples

We embarked in Naples, went very smoothly once we found out where we had to go

Marseille

Bought a shuttle bus ticket from the ship for €15 pp. took approx 20 mins into the centre of Marseille. we Enjoyed our trip here. Lovely walk along the harbour. Stalls to look at and buy souvenirs and Marseille soaps. Some if the stalls accept cards as well as cash.

Then we took the sightseeing mini train. €8 pp. this was nice too that went along the coast and up to the Cathedral La Gard. Fantastic views from up there. You get off and look round then get on another train to take you back down. We had a coffee in one if the many restaurants along the harbour front,

Sardinia

Didn’t enjoy our stop over here. Cagliari isn’t anything special. Broken pavements and covered in graffiti. We wanted to get the lift that took you up to see the view but it was out of order, very disappointing

Malta (Valletta)

The harbour looks lovely from the ship. We took one of the hop on/off buses €15 pp. there are three different tours. We only had time to do the yellow one up to Mdina. Quite nice. Took us a couple of hours including a stop off for lunch there before getting bus back down.

We should have got off the bus before it got back down to theoort because we wanted to visit Valleta, but we didn’t nit knowing where we were. We did take the lift back up to Valleta €1 pp Valletta was quite nice.

Taormina (Messina)

We only had a walk round Messina, had a coffee and visited the Cathedral then got back on board.
