We choose this cruise for the affordability and because we have been wanting to try Royal Caribbean. The service from our state room attendant, Byron, and our waiter in the main dining room, Michael, were excellent and very attentive! The ship was clean and we enjoyed the shows.

We were disappointed with the food - it lacked flavor and tasted like it was mass produced. The crab cakes were made with imitation crab and the pasta was undercooked. Dessert presentation was beautiful but the taste was artificial, with the exception of the apple pie which was delicious. The lamb and the beef were excellent. My husband enjoyed the roasted chicken.

Breakfast in the Windjammer was the highlight. We were disappointed in breakfast in the dining room. The hollandaise sauce on the eggs Benedict was flavorless and the eggs were overcooked. The hash brown was soggy underneath a grilled tomato.

Junior Suite

Cabin J2

The cabin was fresh and well maintained. The deck was great; lots of privacy and comfy chairs. The bathroom was small but had plenty of room to do what needed to be done. There was a huge closet and lots of drawers and places for storage. The safe in the room was nice to store valuables and there was a fridge as well.

There were USB charging ports next to each side of the king size bed and great lighting. There were reading lights on both sides as well.

For the most part, the cabin stayed nice and cool but did warm up if we kept our curtains open in the afternoon.
