Wanting to visit cities on the Rhine that we had not been to before. Overall it was a good Cruise the Staff like on any Cruise are fantastic. The Ports of call were great & well organised. The food was OK my wife said the Fish dishes were good, my Meat dishes not so. We had been on this Ship 3 years ago & knew what to expect. The Boarding was smooth & we noticed that the lounge/Bar area had been updated. However the Cabins were the same sad rooms that we had left some 3 years ago. If you are short in height be prepared for marks in the back of your legs. The Bunk bed stile used has a wooden frame around the mattress, which is some way from the cabin floor, not making it too easy to get out of bed (in the night!!!). The cabins could do with updating as well as the carpets etc.which look tired now. That aside we enjoyed as always the company of the passengers on board. Do not join this ship if you are expecting entertainment, the lone Musician was poor but there again what do you expect!! It would have been good like lat time to have imported local Musicians from the last port of call. All in all a good Cruise but will not be using this ship again until it uses double beds which I don't think will be some time soon.
