First, let me say this is my first time on a cruise that was longer than 4 hrs. I jumped onboard a trip that was rescheduled from Sept 2017 with a friend's family and friends who numbered about 23 folks so I expected good times. I loved my cabin 12216 and only wish I'd taken advantage of the thermal suite prior to my last day. I enjoyed the morning stretch, yoga which was hopped up pilates and boot campish, and an ab work out.. All of that was absolutely necessary because of the volume of food I consumed - I wasn't forced to .. let me mention that.
The room size was adequate and it was nicely appointed in the Cloud 9 Spa theme.
My date and I had Your Time Dining which was cool but I didn't like that were relegated to eat at the same restaurant each night or head to the market place. Speaking of the market place, the breakfast was great but dinner was 50/50 where some nights you had tasty meals and another night you had gray water logged hot dogs with brown sauerkraut.
Hamidi our cabin steward had little to no work and learned our schedule early on - make the beds while we leave for dinner lol. Space was adequate with almost enough closet space and drawers for two grown adults on an 8 days cruise. Our cabin steward made towel animals each day and refreshed our towel supply regularly - nothing spectacular to report. Would like a microwave in the room otherwise I really liked the Cloud 9 Spa decor.. it's really one of the main reasons I chose the Deck so it didn't have the dreary brown wood paneling of the rest of the ship.
The pool bar at Buffet's Margaritaville was good enough for me.
Stayed close to port and bought a couple items from the marketplace. there were $5 buses that took you 6 minutes into town but I hear the ppl in the marketplace were very aggressive, there were impoverished children there asking for money and ppl who offered to take you "somewhere else, just around the corner for better bargains".. This was the one port I had no interest in exploring.
