Included as part of our 19 day Vietnam & Cambodia Explorer, we went on a 7 day Mekong River cruise put together by Emerald Waterways. We were on the M/V Mekong Navigator while on the Mekong River.

The Mekong Navigator has 4 levels & a maximum capacity for about 69 passengers. The 1st or bottom deck has the crew & passenger cabins with portholes, from around mid-ship towards the stern & bow respectively. The 2nd deck has the passenger cabins with balconies, from around mid-ship towards the bow, while the dining room is from around mid-ship towards the stern. The 3rd deck has a small boutique shop & pursers’ office sandwich between passenger cabins which are located from mid-ship towards the bow & stern respectively. The lounge is located on the 4th deck stern area, while the spa/gym, library/computer room is located in the bow area. The bridge is also located on the 4th deck bow. In the mid-ship area of the 4th deck is a sitting/sunning area.

There is air condition, but only in the enclosed pubic areas (restaurant, lounge, etc.) & cabins, not in the hallways. Wi-fi, although sporadic, is only available in the public areas. There are no elevators on this boat.
