It seemed an excellent bargain for the price. It was. Viking took care of everything, made sure we were met at airports, train stations, bus stations, etc. The ship and crew were great - friendly and highly competent. Excellent food. Chef shopped daily in markets at our stops - a nice touch. The free off-ship excursions were very good, using English speaking, knowledgeable local guides. We loved the ship and our cabin with a French Balcony = A window that slid open so we could stand in the breeze. The Wifi could have been better, but I understand the difficulty of a moving boat, locks, bridges, etc. We loved the little complementary amenities, like coffee, tea, and cookies, 24x7.

Sitting on the upper deck is a real treat. Comfortable chairs, shade plus exercise areas (modest track, shuffleboard . . .)
