This cruise was chosen for the convenience of being able to board locally. Somewhat surprised by the high proportion of older people on-board. This cruise achieved its objective of giving my wife a rest from her daily routine but it wasn’t exciting or original. It felt very much like everyone was just going through the motions. An overall cost of around $7000 for two weeks off work doesn’t really seem like great value. The food especially was very average indeed.
The daily activity guide was very useful.
Cabin staff are very good indeed, as are dining room staff.
Very small, especially bathroom / shower. Tv viewing options very uninspiring. No tea / coffee facilities in cabin.
