Cabins as well as the boat were very clean. The waitstaff in the dining room were excellent. The excursions (included with the fare) were decent, but the logistics were horrible. Tour director blamed all errors on everyone but Viking. Lack of shuttles, poor docking spaces and "everyone else has the same problems" was the norm. When we booked, the airfare was included. Our agent (not Viking) suggested that we don't use that service since there were multiple flights and no seat assignments until you reach the gate. So we paid for a direct flight, and didn't ask for, or were offered a rebate or concession for not booking via Viking. I was ok with that since it was my decision. Now comes the ultimate insult! When departing, i asked when the shuttle to the airport was leaving, and was told since i didn't arrange flights through Viking I had to get my own taxi to the airport. I paid for, but didn't book through Viking, so I couldn't get on the bus. Even charge me to use the shuttle would have been less of an insult. Profit driven, not customer driven. Viking may be the most popular and have the most boats on the river, but anything would have been better. Shame on you Viking.

Very clean. Smaller than expected, but no way it could have been larger due to the size of the boat. Loved the heated shower and bath floors.
