This was first cruise, and we didn't really know what to expect. But we were blown away! All the staff were fabulous, friendly and helpful. A few people had said the ship looked tired .....WHERE? We thought it was amazing.

The food was fantastic in the main dining room and excellent in the wind jammer. We did prefer breakfast in the dining room just as it was easier to be seated and a nicer surrounding. We had one evening in Chops Grille which was very nice and worth the extra money. We also had a night in Jonny Rockets ... didn't rate this very much though, at $10 per head, food is better in the wind jammer.

We decided to upgrade to all inclusive drinks package after much debate 3 weeks before our cruise and glad that we did. It was just much easier, we ordered anything we liked and just showed our card. I feel we drank more than usual because we had paid for it, however we would definitely buy the drinks package again.

Lovely clean cabin, great big bed and super comfy.

Port Reviews

Southampton

We boarded this port

Gibraltar

We stomped passed everyone walking slowly so we could get on the cable car and we did, waited for around 30 minutes and views were amazing

Alicante

Lovely city, very clean, great beach right next to the port

Marseille

We didn't get off the ship here as the town was quite away and the ships coach pass would have been about $70.

Barcelona

This is the only place I would go back to as I felt we didn't have long enough and my kids wanted to get back on bard the ship!

Lisbon

Lisbon was ok, not what I thought it would be.

Vigo

Vigo was nice the town wasn't far from the port, only about 10 minute walk.
