As a group of six friends we were excited to take our first cruise to the Bahamas with Norwegian Cruise Line. Sadly the cruise did not live up to our expectation.
Most of our cruise was beset by bad weather, mostly rain. This is of course was not the fault of Norwegian Cruise Line but did lead all six of us to having a less than stellar time.
The biggest disappointment came to us of Day 3 of the cruise. We were expected to port on a private island but did not due to bad weather; instead we got a “fun day at sea.” This day was not what we would call “fun.”
Cabin Review
Balcony
Our cabin was quite nice and we loved having the balcony, when we could use it. Rain kept use from using it as much as we wanted.
The room was kept very clean and well stocked by our steward. Bed and pillows were comfy as was the couch.
The newer tv was also nice.
Port Reviews
Nassau
Nassau was a nice, but very touristy area. We didn't go much further than the main shopping strip.
I would definitely recommend doing the pirate museum. It was really cool and well done.
