This is my sixth Viking Cruise and the 22nd cruise Viking Cruise I have personally paid for (children, parents, in-laws) and it was a complete and total disappointment. The ship's Cruise Director and his staff were completely disorganized and when politely and confronted after several inexcusable mistakes, responded with, " this is our first cruise of the season and we're having to work out the kinks". Housekeeping was excellent and the food was acceptable.

We enjoyed Russia so very much and I feel that the trip could have been comparable to many of the other Viking cruises we have taken but because of the lack of professionalism and attention to detail demonstrated by the cruise director and his staff, it was a very bad experience.

I'm sure that there were those that thought that the cruise was great but with my wife and my seventeenth cruise, we are fortunate to be able to have many experiences to use as a comparison. Read more
