Just returned from a fabulous ‘Mini cruise’ from Cardiff to Harwich via Honfleur. Extraordinarily good weather made the whole cruise perfection. The procedure for embarkation was simple and rapid. Our rooms were small but well furnished with plenty of wardrobe and drawer space and a nice, clean bathroom with a lovely hot shower. The room was kept spotless by Imam. The food was delicious and I would definitely recommend eating in the waiter served restaurant. Fantastic quality of food, five courses for lunch and dinner if you required, very well presented and always a tasty variety of dishes served. The buffet restaurant was also great but here there is the tendency to over eat as everything looks so delicious. The staff were very attentive and always happy and well presented and we loved the entertainment team who in turn loved us because we took part in and enjoyed everything. The views and sunsets were amazing and we were lucky to have perfect weather and calm conditions. Couldn’t fault a thing. Truly fab and can’t wait to go again. Thankyou the staff on The Marco Polo - we loved it.

Honfleur

Honfleur was beautiful. The highlights are the cobbled streets, the harbour and the beautiful wooden church, St Catherine’s in the old part of the town.
