Sail Date: Jun 2018

we decided to take my mother on the Elvis cruise departing Sydney Friday 1st June 2018 and everything was a nightmare. Poor weather meant the cruise was delayed which was understandable but we were delayed at first from 12 until 2pm and then 8pm and stuck in a terminal with hardly any seating available, as another ship was also delayed. My mother is almost 80 and I had to beg for a seat and many others were also in this position but no apologies were offered and no offer of any refreshments for people waiting for hours. The weather was horrific most of the ship suffered seasickness. The food was disgraceful nothing fresh the only fruit offered were of poor quality such as honey melon that was rock hard and everything else tasted like it was from a packet and very processed , Breakfast was by far the best option. Most of the time you had to wait for tables and the main coffee lounge at the New Zealand Icecream palour was over a 20 min wait for a coffee. The staff at the bistro area were rude and hardly smiled even though customers thanked them they just slopped the food on the plates. The attendant to our room was by far the best part of the cruise as he was attentive and polite , The entertainment was average and only a few activities were available. I heard so many people complain about this cruise it was by far the worst trip I have ever taken
