Not everyone in our group had a passport and we needed a cruise that you didn’t need one. Royal Caribbean has been our favorite cruiseline. We’ve always loved Coco Cay and the peacefulness, especially on the South Beach...like our own paradise. We love the hammocks and quite!! We all wanted to go back there Before they ruined it with their new concept of Fun. We are So very disappointed to hear that they are turning our Paradise into a new “Experience” island. It will definitely be more noisy and Not a peaceful Paradise any more. By the promotional video it looks like it will be a noisy water park for young people where RC can collect more $$$$ to use each new experience. Not for us!!! We love the many beach chairs, lots of palm trees for shade if needed, hammocks in those trees, being able to walk way out on the sand bars looking for sea shells and marine life.

Our family group of 8 ranging from 17-59 yrs old all agreed that we might be looking to switch cruise lines in the future to find a new Paradise. We don’t want to go back to Coco Cay again. Our group all use our photos at Coco Cay for screen savers on our phones. Who wants a spoiled Paradise with water slides and screaming kids? Not us!

As far as the Enchantment of the Seas, it is a smaller ship and a little run down probably over the new ships. We had muliple cabins for our group in the same category. Some had different upgrades. One cabin had a shower curtain and another had shower doors. Doors were nice to keep water contained in bathroom. One had a safe that you could set your own code for access which was so much better than the one that you had to slide your sea pass for access. We had 4 people in one cabin and only 1 persons card could open the safe.

Some cabins needed some updates, but were clean and acceptable.
