Sail Date: May 2018
Cabin: Classic Suite

Chose this cruise because it called at most of the usual Alaskan ports plus a number that are not visited by larger ships. We have sailed with Windstar before and found the small ship size to be desirable.

The ship itself is in good condition and well maintained.

Our cabin was a higher cost cabin(classic suite) which was more costly and spacious than most of the cabins on board. It also was located on a higher deck and midship which made it more comfortable in high seas. Bad news was that it had a highly blocked view by an orange boat hanging between our windows and the outside. This made looking at scenery from cabin mostly difficult. Also it made the cabin dark. While there are references to restricted view, we were not prepared for how catastrophic the view would be.

Well located and spacious. Dark and terrible view to outside.
