So we got the drinking package, so we paid the $900 and still had every drink we had plus bottled water charged to our room so each day we had to go to the service desk and have them take it off. We got charged for 4 drinking packages instead of 2. The Belize excursion only stated it was a beach. No it was a man made beach. It could have said that in the description. Us along with others on the excursion we all not happy when the tour guide tells you as you are turning into the area it is a man made beach. Secondly between all the guides we were standing in lines over an hour for buses since no one could figure out what we were suppose to do. On each excursion they refused to move since the ticket number did not match the people on the bus. The first tour in Honduras the guide said I have 26 people and 25 tickets. Everyone did a role call and he said he was still off and we kept telling him sir there are 25 people on this bus not 26. Second excursion Belize she kept saying she had one more person than ticket. Same thing no we all kept counting and showing out stubs. Of course it was all correct. I did not like how people kept coming up to us at dinner or eating asking if we wanted to get reservations to pay more for the other restaurants. Our state room guy was amazing. Beds slept like rocks so we asked him for a pad right at the same time other passengers were coming to tell him the same thing that their beds hurt their backs also. Pool sizes were very small. Huge kids splash pad. Usually there is an adult section on cruises to get away from kids not on this ship. Pizza at Sorrentos was amazing. That's what we lived on most of the cruise. Dining room food was poor. Rolls were hard as rocks, food was not very good at all. Desserts were good. Windjammer wasn't bad. There was something for everyone there. I expected more places to try to eat for free. Carnival has a burger bar, burrito bar, sandwich bar, and pizza bar all free. I don't remember ever having to pay for room service either. I just felt like we payed way to much for this cruise to have everything keep costing us. The excursions were not at all what we expected except in Cozumel. Husband said he refuses to go on another cruise since this first one was horrible. I told him we need to take another one and re do this one since R.C. was so bad. Sad part is it was not just us. We were with a huge group and others had talked about how this was so not what they were expecting and this would be the last R.C. cruise for them too.
