Arrived in Amsterdam a couple of days early so we were able to go to Keukenhof to see the fabulous tulips. Weather was great and the tulips were in full bloom. Enjoyed everything about the cruise - the ship was really lovely, cabin on lowest deck was well set out with plenty of storage (and a lovely orchid),food was great, crew could not have been better. The included excusions in all ports were great - very well organised with knowledgeable guides. Hilmer in Koblenz was especially good. Certainly learnt a lot of history about the Rhine area. We also had great weather for most of the time. The only rain happened on trip to Heidelberg. Really loved Strasbourg and the Black Forest. The black forest cake was pretty good too!!

Could not fault anything at all on the trip. Can't wait to travel with Avalon again on a different river.
