Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BD

Cabin 10910.

The cabin was on deck 10 right at the back of the ship on the starboard side of the ship which allowed us to see land as we passed by in places. It was nice and quiet there as there was not a lot of through traffic. The cabin was nicely decorated and very clean. There was a sofa and a double bed. Good size wardrobe with a safe inside on one of the shelves. There was a minibar fridge and a coffee percolator with coffee and tea bags. Just a warning they are still using very inferior, vile tasting coffee but we took our own with us this time.

There was a flat screen television on the wall which let you check your account, watch excursions information etc and where the ship was. There were a few channels although we never used the television in the room as we were out of the cabin more than we were in it. There were ample cupboards to store things and the suit cases fitted nicely underneath the bed so the room was not cluttered.

The bathroom was adequate and the shower was in a glass enclosed space. There was a toilet and plenty of shelves and storage space in the bathroom. Towels were changed daily. There is some shower gel and shampoo in the shower cubicle hand soap and a small bottle of moisturiser.

The balcony was a reasonable size with two chairs and a small table. The cabin was serviced twice a day with towels turned into animals each evening and the beds turned down. Our cabin steward was very friendly and helpful. Remember to use the service cabin lights and do not disturb light on your door.

Port Reviews

Rostock (Warnemunde)

Pretty little fishing town. Nice and clean and superb beaches. Most places were closed as it was a bank holiday the day we visited but a pleasant little port.

Tallinn

Super compact little city albeit a little hilly. Well worth a visit and very beautiful with nice friendly people in the town!

Helsinki

We did a hop on and hop bus trip of Helsinki right from where the boat berthed and wandered around the streets and market area around the port. It was a nice clean and pleasant place but not one I would wish to return to in a hurry.
