Embarkation was not a problem and neither was our cabin - we knew what to expect in terms of size and location, plus our room steward was excellent! We have cruised 5 other times (1 with Carnival, 4 with Norwegian).

FOOD: The food was horrible. The food at the Windjammer was cold, old, and they always had several stations closed. Presentation was ugly too. Expect to stand in long lines. They also had a lot of Indian food, or meals with curry for lunch and dinner. We were expecting variety. The food at the main dining room was not much better either. For example, the pasta advertised as having "blue cheese" really had ranch dressing. Lobster tail over cooked. Not tasty; nothing was. No late night snacks besides horrible pizza - expect to make a long line for that too. Make reservations for the main dining room or expect to stand in long disorganized lines as well. Room services had several options but not good either. Lemonade had no sugar. I guess it makes sense if they're trying to sell you their soda package.

STAFF: Not really friendly. At first we thought 'this person must be having a bad day' but we began encountering more and more unfriendly staff. They were not rude, just not friendly, no eye contact, no smiles, no 'good morning.' Cruise Director was not really around. In fact, he was our least favorite from all our ships.
